Teen pregnancy is an issue for everyone and it seems like a lot of girls have been getting pregnant lately. Parents shouldn’t judge or get mad at there kids for getting pregnant. Sometimes it’s an accident but then again they either didn’t wear protection or use birth control to prevent it from happening.
I’m Kylee Vinson and I’m sure everyone or mostly a lot of people know that I’m a student at MHS that is pregnant and being a teen mom is going to be hectic since I’m a senior this year and I’m trying to get all my work in and caught up before I’m due. I am also trying to get good grades so I can graduate on time. I’m 17 about to be 18 soon on October 8, 2009.
I know there’s a lot of other teen’s that are pregnant on at this school and many of you are probably stressing out with school also; but it’s ok because if you keep your head up you will make it. Ignore the people that stare at you and talk about it because it’s a waste of time to let them judge you. They might end up just like us someday and then they will understand what we are going through.
Just because we’re pregnant and think that there isn’t people to help us there’s a lot actually if your parents or friends or the father doesn’t want to help you or support that your pregnant, like other programs wic, the clinic by the hospital and also birthright help you in whatever you want to do with your life because once they realize what a beautiful thing you have created they will want to help and be there for you and support what you want. But there are programs out there that can and will help you get through whatever you need.
It is not okay to be pregnant this young. We do not know enough about life to properly support a baby, and your parents should not be mad at you, rather, they should be angry at themselves for raising such an irresponsible, careless child. You are not ready for a kid; you are a child yourself.
Being pregnant should be heavily discouraged. The children are not something beautifully created, they are created out of raw lust and carelessness. Often, they have behavioral and development problems from being born to a mother who is not yet completely grown. Teen pregnancy is a shameful, embarrassing epidemic that needs to be addressed.
okay you dont need to talk to them like that “againstteenpregnancy” if they are already pregnant it could have been an accident so it doesnt make the children irresponsible or careless they could have taken action i am 17 and have an almost 3 month old daughter and i was on birthcontrol and used a condom the condom broke and my birth control didnt work all your going to do by talking like that is upset the girls that are pregnant how would you live with yourself if one of them decided to take there own life because of the selfish inconsiderate things you said????
Honestly, I fully support the fact that there’s a nursery in the High School. It provides a great opportunity for teen moms to finish out their high school years & still graduate with full requirements. The mothers that take responsibility & use the nursery should be rewarded somehow.
